Life Architecture Programme
At Proactive Wellness we believe that much stress and ‘dis-ease’ is caused by not truly mapping out what you want to do with your life. Wandering aimlessly or working hard at goals that have been imposed by others can leave you wondering later in life where you went wrong. We use a house as a metaphor to describe the way we design and manage our lives. Each part of the house is symbolic of an area of our life or of the way we care for ourselves.
The Life Architecture Programme is designed to support you in building your life in a way that can bring lasting change and progress. Getting to the heart of your real goals, values, beliefs, and personality style can give you the information you need to make effective decisions that will be the building blocks of the life you want.
Foundation Programme
The foundation of any building needs to be solid to provide lasting support and a good understanding of the building materials will ensure that the construction process is effective and safe. The same is the case when we are designing and building our lives. Understanding our beliefs, values, and true goals and then checking that what we hold onto will really support our progress is essential for having a solid foundation. Understanding our character and personality traits is like knowing the building materials we are working with, which allows us to prepare to succeed. This programme is dedicated to helping you lay the right foundation for the life you want to build and includes the following:
- 1/2 day course in London.
- Personal Short course designed for you.
- Focus on where you want to be.
- Learn what could be holding you back from the success and wellbeing you are looking for.
- DISC Personality Profiling, 12 page report, and consultation.
- Learn how to communicate more effectively with professionals and those in your personal life.
- Values Elicitation on career, relationships, or health.
- Find out what could be sabotaging your plans and how you can change that!
- Goal setting work based on the workshop.
- 45 minute Skype follow up session
Ground Floor Programme
When you first start building it helps to have a blueprint and a project manager to keep you on track. The Ground Floor Programme combines the Foundation Programme and takes it much further. We spend 2 hours designing the life you want in detail and how you will get it. In order to start seeing results, you will have coaching support over a further 3 weeks to move you forward in the areas you feel need attention first. So the Ground Floor Programme includes:
- 1 day course in London:
- Foundation Programme
- 2 hour life design session
- 3 weekly/fortnightly coaching calls to move you forward towards making your life design a reality!
- Email support to provide extra information or help in between sessions.
- Personal development as appropriate
First Floor Programme
Once the foundation and ground floor is in place, you can now start working on the other areas of the house. When constucting, we sometimes focus on completing a specific area or room in the house. This is what the First Floor Programme is about! This is your opportunity to take an area that you really want to improve greatly, build on the work in the Ground Floor programme, and create and put the finishing touches on it. The First Floor Programme gives you a minimum of 4 sessions and extra support to transform that area in your life. You
- Focus on a specific area of your life design that you feel needs immediate attention.
- In depth work on your chosen area each week.
- Sessions Face-to-face or via Skype
- Work on your area in a detailed or big picture way.
- Email Support
- Personal Development Exercises
- This course is only available to those who have completed the Ground Floor programme.
Additional Sessions
In your Initial Consultation we will recommend a number of sessions based on what you want to achieve. The programme is designed to enable you to achieve your goals in the shortest time possible. However, you may decide to add further goals to your course and if this is the case, further sessions can be added to your package.
DISC Profiling
This service profiles your personality, identifies key strengths, coping strategies and response to pressure, leadership skills, and areas for personal growth. This service adds valuable information to the coaching process and can provide you with insight into how to successfully achieve your goals. Your coach will be a accredited DISC practitioner and will provide you with an in depth consultation on the results of your profile on top of a 12 page report that you will receive once you complete the profile.
The profile is taken online and the report sent to you via email. This gives you an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the results of your profile prior to your consultation. DISC profiling is included in all coaching packages.

Values Elicitation
Values are the mirror image of who we are at any moment – Hopson & Scally
Our values are the principles or the standards by which we live our lives. They can motivate us to move towards or away from certain goals or activities in life. When we make decisions that go against our core values, we often suffer unhappiness or frustration. We may find that we are constantly trying to achieve something but never getting there and that could be due to the fact that we are working against our values.
We are all affected by our core values and our idealistic values. Our idealistic values are the principles that we would like to live our life by but are not yet driven by them. Our core values are the ones that drive our daily life and achievement in our life. So for example, you may like the idea of being disciplined enough to exercise every day, but you may find that you value relaxation more and therefore find excuses/reasons not to exercise. Sometimes we are aware of the values that drive us, however increased self awareness can increase success when the understanding of your values is put to excellent use.
During coaching, your coach will search out your values in relation to the goals that you are working on in order to raise your self awareness and ensure that your goals are congruent. If you want to work on goals around your career, relationships, or health, it is highly beneficial to have a full values elicitation done around your chosen area. It is possible to repeatedly make ‘bad’ decisions in our life and this often happens when we are not aware of values that are driving us. For this reason the option of having a full values elicitation is available in all packages. The process takes at least an hour and is an excellent foundation for goal setting.
